ClickStream Technologies Expands Product Suite with Launch of LinuxSight™

New product uses patented technology to bridge the gap between Linux developers, administrators, and end users.

BERKELEY, CA – August 4th, 2008 - ClickStream Technologies, the leader in PC and Mac® user experience reporting, has today announced the release of LinuxSight™, a data collection tool that gives Linux developers and administrators a click-by-click view of Linux user activity. ClickStream Technologies' patented data collection tools, previously available only for Microsoft Windows® and Apple Mac® operating systems, provide a holistic view of computer user behavior across all browsers and applications, reporting on everything from feature use to hardware configuration. ClickStream's flagship product, ClickSight®, and the subsequent Mac®  version, MacSight™ is currently used around the globe by companies such as Microsoft and Adobe to better understand both the trends and particularities of their users' behavior, as well as that of their competitors.

"Our focus has always been on the end user and their experience, and we're excited to expand our analysis to include the Linux community," says Cameron Turner, CEO of ClickStream Technologies, adding "Although Linux has a strong developer-to-user connection, its interoperability poses a challenge to those attempting to measure the user experience and eliminate inefficiencies."

LinuxSight™ can be easily downloaded onto the machines of study participants and runs in the background without impeding machine performance. In a typical study, ClickStream Technologies recruits thousands of triple-opt- in users and records their click activities, installed and used applications, and hardware configuration, for 1 to 6 months or longer. LinuxSight™ was announced this week in conjunction with LinuxWorld and will be available in the fourth quarter of 2008.
